In mid October, while walking through my local CVS I noticed not one but two holidays on display. Standing next to the ghoulish skeleton draped in black was rose-cheeked Santa Claus and his reindeer. It seems that the winter holidays come earlier each year, but this really confirmed it. Is it the consumer fueling the industry or the industry fueling the consumer, either way Richmond and its surrounding counties seem ready to bring on the holiday cheer.
